[Critique Group 2] Leonard's comments on Joan's sub for March

Against All odds, 

blaccks and Jews keeprising up after being forced down. 

That’s  probably also true for many minorities. 

But, it’s a good tingfor humanity that we do.  

We  never get free of this treatment, for  what ever reason.  

The world keeps poundingus  down again, 

as if they were gods. 

But we keep getting upagain. 

I think this is part ofGod’s plan.  

I think we’re here todemonstrate to the world when we are doing well and wen we are failing. 

After all, we  chose to be  Chosen Ones.

Jew or Black

against all odds we keep coming back

 

keep coming back for goodness sake

keep rising up--

can't  catch a break

 

can't catch a dream with both our hands

can't hit the mark

can't meet demands

 

like some kinda god they stomp  us down

into the dirt

flat as the ground

 

stomp us down like some kinda mean gods

but we keep coming back

against all odds
