[Critique Group 2] Leonard's comments on Brad's sub for March

A poem of resoluteness. 

Of course, in Charlemains time, 

The Brits were perceived as the evil ones. 

Is that who Roland is standing against.? 

That’s not important. 

What is important is that  the Dark Tower stands for tyranny and theleader must stand against it.  

In our time, it is Putin., 

and the Ukrainians  are the equivalent of the French. 

Lewenski is Roland. 

He must stand against Putin and save theUkraine  

Only now it is the free world against the DespotPutin.  

Anywaym nice writing. 

It encompasses the story of good against evil. 

It is not an easy fight, and we might notprevail. 

But as Joan says, we will rise again.

We have sought for many generations.

You are the chosen one.

Many have failed before you!

Only you have a chance to prevail.

 

So ride Roland, ride!

The Dark Tower Beckons.

Allow nothing to stand in your way.

You will face many obstacles and tests along thepath.

You will be offered enticements and diversions.

But never stray from your appointed purpose.

 

You must make a stand,

and confront the evil of The Dark Tower.

You must challenge its power.

You will blow the bejeweled sacred horn,

and hold the note at the end.

Only then may our deliverance be assured!

 

We will live unafraid under the sun.

We will finally be free,

to fulfill our intended destiny.
