Into Stillness at Glen Eden Beach
by Joan Myles
With rushing, writhing roar, the lunar pull
connecting Heaven, Earth and raptured sigh
the scene is a beach
with the moon shining down on the ocean
seeming to connect Earth and Heven.
compels my restless spirit up to full-
winged freedom, up and out and ever nigh—
This compels her spirit to be free,
rising ever higher,
ever deeper.
It rises above the mind
,, beyond the will.
Beyond the things there are todespair about.
deep and deeper still--beyond the mind,
beyond the will, the self and all despair--
sea-foam becoming mist becoming air,
The ocean mist in its rising spirit is purified into air.
This is a natural cycle
that she experiences in its fllness of life.
It is the essence of life.
Mist to air.
Life devine.
the breath of life, and Life Divinely there.
Meanwhile, Van Duzer, dreamy-dark as night,
lures wayward children seeking luscious green
idyllic pathways toward a wretched plight
I tried to get Van Deuser to playon my smart speaker.
But you have to join something onAmazon to get it.
But I think you are saing that
children who don’t know any better
seek heaven in lifes illusions.
That is a wretched seeking.
Stillness can’t be found that way.
amid illusions Life is what is seen.
For stillness is a moment not a place.
each touch, each word, each holy wave I trace.
Stilness is a momentary thing.
Attained by a touch,
a word oranything unplanned.
It is spontaneous.
