dank, hurried.




 


Gosip is Foul smelling words rushed and whispered.




 


They clamor like



electric impulses



snaring wit and heart,




 


They  make a din ofnoise  that gets under your skin,demanding attention.




 


dirty with gleeful gloat.




 


They are always dirty with gleeful gloating.




 


Always shared when



subject isn't present—




 


It is always done when the target is not present.




 


speaker wants the spotlight,



a "busy tongue" devotee.



It is just a way of getting attention and possibly powerfrom the one spreading the gossip.  



The term  tonguedevotee is really good.




 


Why does such silly,



unbridled nonsense so



irresistable to the human ear?




 


You ask  why is itso  irrisistable.. 



It is nothing but nonsense. 



I think it can be quite destructive..




 


Speech polution never changes,



on and on it tumbles,



like bits of poisoned fruit.



This is just speech pollution, 



and like pollution it doesn’t seem to be stoppable.
