Abide meansthat poetry lives in, endures, stands, and many other things.
In this case it abides in living.
It can befound anywhere and everytwhere.
It can befound in the homey scenes.
That means in the normal and abnormal scenes athome.
Inside the home, outside the home, and inbvetweenthe home.
In other words , it is found everyhwhere.
It only has to be recognized as poetry.
If we extend this meaning , it can be found in goodscenes and bad scenes and inbetween
There is no place we can look where we can’t findpoetry.
poetry abides
in living
homey scenes--in
inside-outs
betweens
can't wait to bewith you all!
Joan
-----
The descriptions inthis piece are good.
My favorits are:
A feathery cloud offlight.
Transmjutes to a half a dozen of black capped chicadees.
Flitters around thefuschia.
A fethery cloud offlight
Twitters past
Ascends to therooftop
Down to the grass
Transmutes into halfa dozen
Black-cappedchickadees
Three flitaround the fuschia
plum and ivory hornsblaring
Plum and ivory Hornsblaring.
I have no idea wherethese came in or what they refer to.
Two to the bath
For a sip and quickcleansing
The solitary seekerDrifts away
His wings peddle
A deeper urge
Propelling himacross the porch
Into the twilightsun
This is thewhole point of the poem.
The onewho is urged on by a deeper urge.
The solitaryfigure who is looking for more than exists there.
Who is on aspiritual quest.
It is not thatthe others are lesser, They are lovely.
They enhancethe environment.
they have the joy of what is.
But that oneis a seeker that will propell him to discovery.
