7/25/17 Group 2 critique session

1. Val's piece:

An evocative piece that creates a space and feeling of quiet things. It also
describes things I do or have done together which are quiet, peaceful and
immensely enjoyable. But what is the game "Skunk?"

2. Leonard's piece:

I think this piece is very beautiful! I hope your life really does feel like
this on many nights. The first four lines of the second verse are magic
visual imagery. The uncomplicated, comforting sharing of evening turning to
night and stealing over the land with a beloved animal is a feeling like no
other. One to be cherished, marveled at and captured in a piece such as
this. Kudos!

3. Abbie's piece:

This is a very well written and constructed piece. Even more I found an
intangible feeling of inevitable destiny in it. Certainly it is geared more
to the female sensibility. I must say, I am not a Bobby Joe fan. First, he
really has no idea what he is committing to. Second a guy who lets his cell
phone run out of power and his car run out of gas when he has a near to
giving birth girlfriend is not an impressive catch in my opinion. Maryellen
would do better to put her trust in Agnes and Kim. They have struggled
against an ignorant and judgmental world and have been quite successful to
some degree at least.

4. Alice's Piece:

A word picture memory piece that nicely shows the fascinating way the mind
can create a poem through memory, visualization, connection all leading to
crystallization. I wish you had bought an orchid to wear, sniff and touch.
This very pictorial piece might have been given even more sensory magic.
