[DECtalk] questions about vibrato

i'm using speak43.exe.  it tried 900,261 the note was very short.

  There are two ways to assign pitches to notes in DECtalk. Both follow the convention "<dddd, ffff>", where ddd is the duration in milliseconds and ffff is the pitch.  If you use a number between 1 and 37 for the pitch, you'll get the note sung with vibrato.  If you use the actual frequency of the note, such as 261 for middle C, you'll get the right pitch, but it won't be sung with vibrato. The use of vibrato makes it a much better listening experience.
