One option might be to have a "go to most recent word" keystroke that puts you either at the beginning or at the end of the most recent word scored. That would help get your bearings on the board.

This is great to hear! I'm glad there are new games still in development. Hopefully the iOS version of RSGames improves soon, and hopefully the cost is streamlined. Since it's all over the place right now.
