[Critique Group 2] A Decision

Dear Leonard, Alice, Brad  and Joan,

 

Let me begin by saying how honored I am to have been invited to join your
critique group. I like and respect each of you for your talent,
intelligence, artistry and friendship. It was a privilege to participate in
the last two sessions of Critique Group 2. However, I don't think the
format, with its round-robin process, is a good fit for me. I am much more
comfortable with an interactive, freewheeling, "give and take" format. So, I
think it will be best for me to bow out. 

 

I hope that Valerie will shortly be able to rejoin the group, bringing your
number back up to five. From what Alice has shared, it certainly sounds like
Valerie will be back soon.

 

Be assured that I will continue to contribute to the WPL, and participate in
other BOE events. I am very glad to have found the group. BOE has become an
important part of my daily life. I am especially grateful to have forged
some close personal relationships with other members. 

 

Thanks again for welcoming me into your close-knit group. I'm sorry it
didn't work out.
