This is supurb   



Thepoem defines  your growth through stages.



The house you talk of first is one that nurtures yourearlier childhood, 



or at least parts of it.  



As you grow you experience the house in all its various negativeaspects



. Finally,  in thehouse of weeping,  



you begin to find yourself. 



You suffer the emotional scars of the house in all of itsnegative  aspects, 



but you fight back. 



With music. 



You are ready to leave the house 



which no longer holds the power to hold you down.  



You say goodbye 



and bless its now quiet rooms.  



You have an acceptance for the 



world the way it is. 



You’ve learned how to survive that world with love and  understanding. 



You still carry the scars, 



but you can live with them.




 


House




 


House f sunlight,



time to play,



laughing at rain that



trickled down windows--



friendly sound lulling me to sleep.




 


House unfamiliar, unsettled coldness



that confounded innocence,



nightmares brimming from shadowy



fear.




 


House of anger,



terrified, violent--



bleeding from verbal wounds



hidden, unseen.




 


House, a trap,



where normal covered flames,



scorching young flesh and spirit--



night terror now seen,



unbound.




 


House of pain and weeping,



can't pull me down, 



just apart. Rezillance born




 


resilience.



in melody--I fought with words, freeing hope.




 


House full circle,



never healed, but accepted--



memories clean and damaged



after so many years--



I bless your silent rooms



with farewell prayers,



love spilled amid ashes



of reality's sobriety...



No need to look back.



I lock the door.



I leave with eyes open,



holding strength as I step away.
