What a creative idea –
to send a prayer, a poem a piece of yourheart
on a snow flake.
A beautiful thought.
The snow flakes hold the opposite to what itseems to communicate at first.
Your asking us to see the hidden essence or possibility of the snow flake.
As a poem its beautiful
fristilin construction is the essence of a poem.
In a piece of your heart
the snow flake comes back to you and frees your spirit.
Your love makes you feel free.
What could be truer?
In a Snowflake
poemby Alice Jane-Marie Massa
In asnowflake,
I have sent you a prayer.
So, when next you feel a snowflake land uponyour face,
Cold and unsmiling from the frigid air,
Remember that that snowflake may just be the one
That has within its heavenly design
The prayer for you to shine
in Mother Nature’s sun.
In a snowflake,
I have sent you a poem.
So, when next you feel a snowflake land uponyour ungloved hand,
Stiff from the winter’s chill,
Remember that snowflake may just be the one
For you to catch and find within its crystalizedartistry
The warming, embracing little verse from me.
In a snowflake,
I have sent you a piece of my heart.
However, on this winter’s night,
The wind has blown it back to me.
I could feel sad, forlorn, or confused--
But what I feel, at last, is free--
Frozen to this spot in time--
But, Lord, dear Lord, your precious snowflake
Whispered, whispered “freedom”
to patient, solitary me.
