Remembering

The red shimmer of remembering will compel you up the night to walk the
perimeter of truth for understanding

With one heart we say never forget

And with its beating we say remember

Because guarding and remembering are one

Because the Tree of Life and the forest are one

Because the circle we dance declares the earth’s circle

Because the verses we chant name the wind

Because every hue of every creature shimmers with remembering

Because  remembering is the human heart beating

Because  with one heart we say never forget
