4-30-20 Group 2 Critique session

1. Valerie's piece:

I think you may have meant cinquain not cintraine but could be wrong. Of
course, I didn't remember the specific plan of the form. I couldn't find
anything on cintraine and Google asked me if I meant cinquain? So I read
about American cinquains and honestly didn't fully get it.
"Cinquain depends on strict structure and intense physical imagery to
communicate a mood or feeling." I found this, though there are also rules
about stresses and number of syllables.
I like the poem and appreciate how much comfort there can be in music one
has known so long, that it has become part of the soundtrack of your life.

2. Joan's piece:

And it does! Poetry abides:
In homey scenes,
In insides out
And in between
So there is poetry in everyday comfortable daily scenes or in instances of
total revelation. And all between these 2 poles.
 An inarguable assertion!

3. Leonard's piece:

A classic witty, whimsical Leonard take on quarantine or as he calls it
"sequester." Truly it can almost always feel like there is not enough time
to get all things done whether or not one is in sequester. There are so so
many details here in the information age that it can become bewildering.
Question for Leonard: this piece was posted 17 days ago; does it still feel
that way to you?"
