[Critique Group 2] two points: please read

Dear Group 2 writer friends,


     Many thanks to Joan for sending her lovely poem again!  I was sorry 
to have lost those little chickadees and will explain their special 
significance tonight.


     Luckily, Willow and I arrived home from a damp and foggy walk 
shortly before a deluge of rain.  Severe sstorms are predicted for 
tonight.  Thus, if I am not on the call as I hope to be, stormy weather 
may be the unfortunate reason.


     I will try to log onto the call around 6:20, Central Time, because 
at a Tuesday meeting, the facilitator told us that she had received word 
that meetings' onset time should try to avoid the half hour and hour 
marks as much as possible, due to the current heavy load on Free 
Conference Call.  Even if we do not start on the half hour, you may want 
to call the numbers somewhat early to be on the safe side.  At a noon 
(ET) board meeting this morning, only one person of about ten had 
trouble getting onto the call--as far as we know.

tonight.
