Cope Ability

 

Good title. The ability to cope.

 

 

The mood is dismal,

wind and anger vye for ferocity,

cutting my psyche to scattered bits.

 

Your feeling pretty bad. 

Wind and anger   besetyou.  They are  tearing your psyche to bits..

 

 

Where to look, assuage 

the onslaught of illness,

confusion, termoil?

 

You are looking for a way out: 

a way to cope.

 

You look to religion and music to help.

 

I seek the Saints and the minstrels,

reaching across the devide 

to clasp unseen hands that 

sooth and warm.

 

 

 

Prayer bursts the confines  of words,

enabling me to drink in serenity, hope.

 

Prayer helps  you tofine tranquility and hope.

 

I search for the minstrels

who know my songs, the soft guitar lift

imagination and freedom of flight.

 

Song also helps through freedom of flight ofimagination.   Sof music is what helpsyou.

 

In the midst of unknown,

they sing,

I take them in like

pure, cool waters--

a silent Baptism of heart. I cope.

 

This is a beautiful description. 

You take the music and spirit in like you would  in a baptism of the heart.
