[Critique Group 2] Leonard's comments on Val's sub Aug

It is difficult to understand what is going on inthe world today.  

All the information is there, 

but we can’t decifer them. 

So, who will see the real story, 

that is buried there in all the kirfuffle? 

Will we even survive the confusion and what is actuallyhappening?  

Survival means the survival of heart and soul. 

What  doesthat person really mean? 

Can they be trusted to mean what they say? 

It is a constant war between inuendo and trust.  

The truth is blurred. 

The truth is written there, 

but it is blurred like water paints  that run into lies  and misperceptions.  

The writer ends on a hopeful note.  

With hope, perseverance  and prayer  we will survive, 

like a candle in the dark, 

in the wind, that somehow flourishes.

The language isbeautiful.

the dizzymerry-go-round,

 

 inuendo and trust wage terbulant war games.

 

So hard to seeeven lines

in scrawledabbreviations of truth

running likewatercolor uncertainty.

 

If possible, wewill hold on,

hope, prayer,perserverence flickers

like a smallcandle breaking through.
