Critiques for Group 2- 7-25-19 Session

I am going to take a wild guess andsay:
I think the title came first and the poem was built around it. Of course I
may be totally off base. 
This poem chronicals being unable to write due to circumstances beyond the
writer's control. 
Then likening the resumption of creativety to baking bread.
My favorite lines are:
"I peacefully sip

the slender, fluted glass of solitude."
Almost like a glass of Champagne to celebrate the return to quiet, creative
normality.

Valerie's Piece:

In this piecelife is illustrated as an array of water images. 
Overall, the waters are gentle and soothing accept when they turn to
"blazing blue cold" or "thick black like midnight." I have read pieces where
life is likened to a river but this doesn't seem to be the case here. Though
there is a sense of flowing of life's waters in the piece. Was it
intentional to utilize "hopelight" as a compound word?

Joan's Piece:

A simple evocation of the beauty of a given day. In doing this, the writer's
or anyone's connection to those who are sharing the awareness and living as
part of this singular day, is highlighted . 
It is not necessarily a beautiful day tue to the weather but even is so in
spite of it.

Leonard's Piece: 
A wimsacle classic Leonard piece complete with clever talking animals. The
banter, back and forth is totally entertaining. The very unique twist is
that the extreme arraganse of the rabbit did not result in his demise.
Rather it impressed the old dog to spare him. This was certainly a counter
intuitive  outcome. A fun piece!
