Critiques for Group 2 session 9-27-18

1. Val’s Piece:

Val, you have captured some of the basic essence of CAT. “Dogs have masters,
cats have servants!” But we love the little beasts anyway!

2. Leonard’s Piece: 

An intensely sad exposé of Earth’s violation. The imagery is stunning. This
is a powerful piece that makes one wonder why more of our species doesn’t
have a profound respect for, and a feeling of deep spiritual connection to
our beautiful blue planet.

3. Abbie’s Piece: 

A vivid companion piece to the “apple piece.” Ironically, it was suggested
that up chucking may well have been justified in the aforementioned piece,
and here it was achieved by natural and sincere disgust. Your 5th grade
class sounds like it was truly a nightmare. Alas, you and all other 5th
graders deserve so much better.

4. Alice’s Piece: 

Well, of course one is eager to learn what the astonishing discovery is.
There may be a transcription issue with this piece. Jaws read the first 3
pieces without error. When it got to this piece line breaks were read
incorrectly I discovered and sentences and parts of sentences were reread. I
closed the email, reopened it and maximized the text and it read fine. I
don’t know why it happened so I conclude that it is a formatting issue due
to different email programs. It seems that a person with strong opinions and
convictions may well arouse the ire of others. I don’t doubt that there have
been times when others may have enjoyed the idea of perpetrating physical
violence upon my person but I don’t ever remember having my life threatened.
I sort of feel left out. Most interesting!
