This is a powerfulstatement. It reminds me of Carlie Chaplan’s movie about assembly lines.  One area I wonder about however, is whetherthe elite are on any less of a treadmill. If they are better off, why aren’t theyhappier?

The Pace Of Freedom

C By Brad Corallo

Word count 233

It is easy to get caught up in the repeating loop of living.

As we move faster multitasking to get more things done,

distinct points begin to blur.

Good Description.

Oh right, today is Thursday.

One can continue the cycle for a long time

before even becoming consciously aware.

I wonder if thiswouldn’t be a  good place to give one ortwo examples.

For some, this is the signal to temporarily exit the merrygo round

and consciously choose to slow down.

For a brief time.

But all to soon,

we again tightly ratchet up the accomplishment machinery

and spin back into the roller coaster loop of living.

Sleeping, eating, working, eating again, relaxing brieflyand sleeping once

again!

I find no problemwith the ing  words  here.

To do it all over, until

the blessed weekend!

Thank God, it's the weekend!

Sleep late, errands and chores to do

supplemented with fun and socialization.

Maybe even relaxation, because

all too soon it is back on the wheel

dashing like crazed rodents once again!

I do have aproblem with the number of times you are using the ‘again word.’ except that, you may be doing this on purpose to emphasize the repetitiveness of the rat-race.

Working, earning, paying taxes!

The ruling elite watch and smile.

For such is not their lot in life.

Just keep them running in their never ending spirals

Maybe tread mills.

and their lot in life will never become ours!

We are the pinnacle of Social Darwinism!

Do you think‘those’ people are that aware of their motivations?

As they sit in their mirrored counting houses,

puffing on huge cigars,

they declaim:

"They are so fortunate,

Is this whatentitlement means?

out of the kindness and wisdom of our enlightenedleadership,

we have given them freedom!"

This is an exampleof double-think. Imprizonment is freedom. Hey! Are you a socialist, communist,or a Democrat? (LOL)
