Hello!Leonard, Abbie, Brad, and Valerie--Although I just sent to you a 
forward of Valerie's poem (upon the request of Leonard), I will try to 
paste her poem below so that you may also have her poem without the 
layers of forwards.I did send Valerie an e-mail about this happening 
earlier this morning.

Can this be happening

After I was so sure...

Life just punched a gaping hole

Along borders of resolve,

Making me sad, sick at heart,

Incredibly vulnerable.

This is hard, defeating,

Yet, I dare to hope regardless.
