[Critique Group 2] Five is a good number

Hello, fellow writers of Group 2:

While I realize that losing a member for whatever reason or reasons
makes us pause for a moment and take stock of the situation, I believe
that five is actually a better number of participants. I would suggest
that a critique group not solicit new members or a member until the
group size is three. I think four could work if the participants are
very dedicated to attending each meeting; if attendance is not as good,
a group may need to seek a new member when the group numbers four. For
this type of critique group, smaller is better. Perhaps, eventually,
some of the newer members of BOE can form a critique group. I think
that the five of us now in this group have enough in common to work
successfully as a group.

Eventually, I will transfer my hard-copy braille notes about your
pieces from our first meeting to a Word file and then to e-mails to all
of you. Next time, I will place my notes on a computer first and then
in hard-copy braille. Each time I plan to work on my belated notes to
you, something arises here. My apologies!

Have an especially good writing week--Alice
