A Bit of Writing Wisdom

 

This week has been particularly challenging. I haven't produced anything
worth sharing with my much appreciated writing sounding-board of friends.
Here is something I pulled from my musings files. These are thoughts, ideas
or fragments that may someday be turned into a story, poem or full blown
autobiography. They are quickly jotted down for future expansion when time
permits.

 

A Blue Print for a Life of Value and Adventure!

 

When I stop running in circles long enough to ponder the meaning of life, I
usually decide that it is to make the world a little better place for having
been born in to it. If I can bring a smile to a stranger's face or comfort a
child, then my time isn't wasted along my life journey. 

 

Daily, I find opportunities to perform small tasks that make a difference.
There are more activities with which to fill my hours than there are minutes
in them. My philosophy is simple. When a new experience is offered, I give
it a try. Even if I find I don't like the activity, I will have discovered
which directions I'm interested in going. If you look around and explore
your options, one need never feel bored or unconnected to the greater scheme
of things. There you have it. My blueprint for living your best life. What
is more, experience gives a writer more to write about; keep reading,
trying, and writing!
