This is heart wrenching. r

In a minimum of words 

you have captured despair. 

With all that you have gonethrough,  

to be hit by a new surgery is almostunthinkable. 

No one would blame you for being depressed. 

But, you say you are not asdepressed as the poem indicates.  

Still, the immediate reaction is“What now.” 

You’ve  done well with other procedures. 

I trust you will bounce back fromthis new challenge as wel.

I consent to emergency kidneysurgery,

The first of two to repair n organout of place.

A skillful urologist will put

My renal system into working order.

Dare I request additional tests

To learn if the same could be done
