Hi  group 1,

Today  our pieces are due. Mine is below.

We eagerlywait for the arrival,

expectingsomething amazing to be there,

like aletter, or parcel we ordered,

yet know wewill most likely get let down.

Mosteverything left us is pure junk.

Even billshave a weird form of worth.

However,this unmitigated crap

serves nopurpose except to destroy trees.

Some ofthat paper comes from naturalists.

Isn’t thatfact an absolute hoot?

 

On mywalks, I meet the Postal Lady.

My heartfills with warmth when I see her.

I feelgrateful for her deliveries.

But I throwmost of the lot in the trash.

 

Why isgetting mail still satisfying?

Perhaps ithas much in common with dreams.
