Joan’s sub for Feb 21
This is actually a vvisual poem.
Dusk brings a loss of color perception.
It is the tendency of like things to huddle inthe night.
I can see the huddling of small stones, andcrows.
What is this one who is waiting?
He is singular.
I don’t think it is the crows or stones.
He or she is waiting for something.
While the others are prepared for the night.
This one is anticipating.
Is he something like a night creature.
An owl or a kyote.
Are they waiting for a lover, or the moon.
He is doing it singularly.
