The sentences run on and on and on giving the impression of life which sometimes seems like one thing after another.
I love the ending. The simple pleasure of walking the dog chases all the worries away for a time.
I can see you walking along beside an eager prancing Vivi in the crisp morning air leaving all the world's concerns behind.

This is so full of spirit and emotion.
As Leonard has said on occasion. So much conveyed in so few words.
The line about the broken compass with no stars to guide me, really reaches out to me.
The ending, frozen fields wating for the warmth of spring holds out hope for new life.

Interesting that you wrote this in second person.
I think this makes it more personal.
There is beautiful sentiment here.
I love the lines there is always enough love if you keep giving it away.
This is like casting your bread upon  the water and it will come back to you.
Or, there is a sort of spiritual sentiment here where you gain more by giving it away.
