Truth be told, that likely makes little difference.
Even Lynx, regarded as a text based tool, incorporates keystrokes that let 
you  manage some JavaScript links..if those links are coded to work from 
the keyboard.
Likewise elinks, and links the chain are lynx browsers which blend 
clarity of text with the ability to manage properly coded JavaScript.
If however a physical mouse is required, or the code actually uses Google 
elements that seek their internal identifiers, then there can be problems.
