[DECtalk] An interesting read, which puts the current state of DECtalk's ownership into question

Dectalk was invented by Dennis Klatt and a team at MIT.  Over the years, it was owned by a few companies, but now no one does.  Why would they?  Now we have ai, very human, and ai can sing. 

I have created my own ai version of Dectalk and have just released a new Christmas album.  I'm releasing one more album by the end of the year, which will probably be my Dectalk finally.  It will be long!  

I turn 60 in a few weeks.  Come January, I want to do original music, and I need to use regular ai because Dectalk just can't meet today's standards.  But I love Dectalk.
