[DECtalk] DECTALK speak windows and screen readers

Hi Josh,

I consider it unlikely that Freedom Scientific/Vispero would begin
selling DECTalk Access32 after all these years of not doing so. I, too,
would be willing to pay for DECTalk Access32 for JAWS, but we are only
two people. FS/Vispero could understandably conclude, if they consider
such suggestion from you or someone else, that selling DECTalk Access32
for JAWS would not be proffitable.

Regarding the DECTalk speak windows: I have not tried using the DECTalk
speak windows with NVDA because object navigation is currently over my
head in comprehension.

In 2013, I acquired a zip file containing various versions of the Speak
Window, JAWS scripts for it and a text file of instructions on script
usage. Such scripts might have been developed by a former list member. I
don't remember who created and/or modified DECTalk speak window JAWS
scripts because 9 years have elapsed. I have not tried using those
DECTalk speak window JAWS scripts for many years. As a result, I don't
know if they would even work/compile with current JAWS versions. If Josh
or anyone else would like the zip file which includes JAWS scripts,
write to me off-list.

Blake

DecTalk speak window applications, in order to successfully click the various graphics, and to adjust the rate of the speech? and do you think that freedom scientific will ever bring back DecTalk access32? because I would really like to be able to use an older version of DecTalk4.1 or 4.6 with Jaws again.
