[DECtalk] questions concerning the dectalk Addon for NVDA.

The decTalk access32 addon works fine, and the package with all decTalk versions works, but you have to unzip it as a zip file then copy its folder into the NVDA addons folder because something is wrong with the addon itself that NVDA will not automatically install it for some reason.

I don't have an answer to your question but I have been wondering the same thing recently. As I pointed out a few weeks ago, I was not able to install the Dectalk 4.4 add-on into NVDA 2019.1. Someone responded that the dectalk access32 add-on works in NVDA 2019.2 beta. However, since I had difficulty installing a single Dectalk version not the package which includes various Dectalk versions, I am not yet convinced that the individual version add-ons remain compatible with NVDA.

hello guys, Johnny here, I'm curious, since around NVDA 2019.2 and
above, a lot of the useful and popular addons for NVDA, such as the
dectalk addon, will no longer work with the newest version of NVDA.

Has anyone been updating the dectalk addons so that they will work for
future NVDA addons?
