[DECtalk] A new Modeltalker list

Hi,
As those of you on the Modeltalker mailing list know, there's now a new list
mt-discuss for open discussion of this speech synthesis and voice banking
system.  Until recently, the primary members of the Modeltalker mailing list
were users or potential users of communication devices for people who have
lost or are losing their ability to speak.  Lots of people were getting
tired of the useless clutter of blind folks discussing MT and using it in
ways of no interest to them, so a new list was set up for open discussion,
mostly among blind users at this time.  If you have not joined the
Modeltalker list, and yet wish to discuss it with other blind folks and the
Modeltalker staff, you can send a blank message to
mt-discuss-subscribe at asel.udel.edu and reply to the confirmation message.
