[Blindapple] About the keyboard.

Hi Jason,

I looked all over for a keyboard, and I think I finally found one. The only problem is, it's not what you said it should be. There's a wire hanging off the keyboard, that plugs into a plug on the apple. Like a regular keyboard on a normal computer.
Does this mean that the keyboard I got won't work with the Apple IIGS, or are there models that are like that with just the USB hanging off of the keyboard? Come to think of it, with the way the keyboard is set up, I do not have a slot for the mouse. I guess I got the wrong keyboard then?

I just thought of something. Do you also need a keyboard cable? Unlike PC 
keyboards, the cable plugs into both the computer and the keyboard. If you 
don't have a cable, you'll also need to get that, since a keyboard won't do 
you much good without a way to connect it. BTW, on the GS, there is one port 
which doubles as both the keyboard and mouse port. You plug the keyboard 
cable into this port, and plug the other end of the cable into one of the 
ports on the keyboard, it doesn't matter which one, although the left one is 
probably better. The port on the other end of the keyboard is where you 
would plug in a mouse if you use it.
