That synth has onboard memory to load its programming.  How much memory you
purchase with it determins exactly how much of the rules, aux dictionary, etc.
you can load but the general answer to your question is that it loads to the
card.

Another program available for the Doubletalk is the Speech Development System
(SDA) which allows you to do a bit mofe with the speech.
