Actually, I re-upgraded to the 2.0 beta before I started the game yesterday. I have now upgraded to 2.2. Busy day today, but we'll see what we can do. By the way, the volume issue has been fixed. Thank you so much.

Hi Caroline,

You can press Q to leave the game you are in. If you have a chance and can try a new game using the updated windows client I posted this morning, that would be great. Bruce had mentioned that he downgraded to the public release, which could explain some of the issues you ran into.

Hi. There were a couple of things. The phonetic setting didn’t’ start working right away. It only seemed to take affect after the other person played. The reading of the letters worked right away, but not arrowing around on the grid.

Also, we had a really weird thing happen during the game. Bruce finished his turn, and it was supposed to be my turn, but it wouldn’t let me play, and then said it was Bruce’s turn. He made another word, but it wouldn’t let him score. I left the game, and now when I attempt to get back in, it’s not letting me. It’s like the game is stuck somehow, and won’t allow me to go back in. I can still access the other games just fine.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the suggestions. Not sure that I will be able to implement all of them before release but will see what I can do.

Can you clarify what you mean about the issues you had during your game? I don't believe we were making any modifications to Scrabble last night.

Thanks,
Mike

Okay. First of all, Caroline and I were trying to play when they were clearly modifying the game, so our game was a bit of a bust. But here's what I've learned:

If you move around the board, then switch to phonetic mode, it zooms you down to that favorite of all squares, the bottom left.

I also thought that hitting enter was supposed to be a toggle, that placed or removed a letter from the board.

Finally, I still think there should be a keystroke that moves you from wherever you happen to be to the start square, for when you lose your berrings. I also think there should be a keystroke to tell you where, perhaps by coordinates, you are on the board. Just my thoughts.
