[Critique Group 2] update from Valerie

Good afternoon, Group 2 writer friends:


     Good news! When I telephoned Valerie again earlier this morning, 
she did answer and sounded well--cheery and positive. Although she will 
not participate in Group 2 on Thursday and may need a little more of a 
hiatus from Group 2, she, fortunately, is thinking very positively about 
purchasing a Braille Shell (very accessible) phone in the near future. 
She said that she will miss Group 2 and does want to continue with the 
critique group as soon as possible.


     Additionally, Val said that Verizon was working near her apartment 
complex all last week and caused numerous issues with her phone which, 
for the most part, was not in working order last week.


     She will be Poet-of-the-Day on the 19th, as planned.  Good news 
here also.
