ButterflyBush




 


HeavenlyBush  



 



Passingthrough my neighborhood,



I wasstruck by a Heavenly scent.



I paused totake a heartfelt breath,



 closedmy eyes to focus within



and bathein the holy aroma.



Then,opened them to search around



anddiscover the source of this pleasure.



 



In myneighbor’s yard was an awesome sight,



a butterflybush in full beautiful bloom,



withflowers that resembled caterpillars,



whichranged in color from pink to purple.



Sipping andflitting were crowds of monarchs,



forbutterflies cannot resist



but to baskin this heavenly bliss.
