2-27-20 Group 2-critiques

1. Joan's piece:

An enigmatic piece! If reflections refer to either choices or deep
ponderings, then your being configured by them makes sense. We are all
configured by our choices and beliefs. At least, I believe so.

2. Valerie's piece:

After reading this, I immediately thought of the song: "Positively Fourth
Street." I remember a similar piece from you several years ago. I wonder who
this is aimed at. Another compact piece that says much. It is a powerful
condemnation of someone who is not progressing or growing and doesn't seem
to know it.

3. Alice's piece:

Kerfuffle, a great term that I heard for the first time in our last Group 2
session. Are these musings true? If so, I applaud the honesty. A poem
expressing significant vulnerability which is far from typical of your work.
Consequently it is quite thought provoking.

4. Leonard's piece:
Trust is difficult for many! When it is established as a result of love, its
betrayal can be devastating! After such, rebuilding it may not even be
possible. There are degrees of trust. Hopefully with age and experience, one
learns that trusting no one or nothing can have a higher price than even the
risk of betrayal. It sounds like the couple in this piece, may never have
been completely open and honest with one another. Such a lack of
transparency increases the likelihood of mistrust or trust failures. Another
thought provoking piece!
