Harmonious music as the vehicle for love which endures and never fails. Is
such the harmony of the universe that many never hear much less participate
in? I couldn't help but notice the amount of words per line:
1-3-4-1-2-1-3. Is there any special significance here?  As is always the
case with your work, there is much expressed in few words.

Leonard's piece: 

There is a lot here. You beautifully capture the excitement of the dog. I
can almost see and hear him. While writing about and experiencing winter
days, you use seasons to symbolize different periods in the unfolding of
your own life. I sincerely hope you have found the peace that you refer to
in" the subdued winter of your life." I love the following lines:
"youth is for flinging and falling
into a future too bright to see." And finally you can appreciate the snow
blanketed silence as sort of a precursor, setting the stage for spring and
the coming of new life. You have accomplished many things in this fine
piece.

Joan's piece:

A compact treatment of the departure that is death. Though it is better to
depart from sleep, frequently that is not the way. There is the moving on
and the loss for those remaining. A nicely constructed piece.

Alice's piece:

A vivid word painting of memories from a long ago trip to Mexico. All the
more treasured as it brightens up the writer's time living through a severe
Wisconsin winter. It has a quality of transporting the reader to that time
and place. Nice piece!
