 The Trap of Knowing


 


Unwavering knowing is such a lovely feeling.

It buttresses the safety bedrock needs of my brain,

a sense I cherish and will defend with my life. 

Doubtfulness is quicksand that will swallow me. 

I flee from the equivocation of murkiness,

for no one is sure what lurks in shadowed lands.

Don’t you dare threaten my reality,

to pull the rug out from under me.

Not one inkling of an inch will I yield.


 


Do not query the verity of my masters.

I trust in them. They are my rock. My foundation;

perfect diamonds, with nary a flaw or crack.

This perfection is something that needs my protection.

You must come to know this, heathen though you are.


 


I will smite you with my righteous sword,

so that you will finally know the truth,

or perish in your wrongful ignorance.

Enter unto the realm of absoluteness.
