[Critique Group 2] My Submission for January 24th

I wrote the following poem a few years ago as part of a National Poetry 
Writing Month challenge. I've since revised it. You can read the

The original prompt was to write a poem about one of the 
constellations, and Aquarius struck my fancy, since I was familiar with 
the song made popular by the Fifth Dimension. I did a little research 
and used some of the lyrics of the song in the poem. At the bottom, 
I've inserted a link to where you can hear the song. I'm planning to 
submit this for possible publication in the spring/summer issue of 
Magnets and Ladders.

AQUARIUS



Abducted as a child,
forced to carry water to the gods,
when Jupiter aligns with Mars,
will peace guide the planet
along with harmony, understanding,
sympathy, trust?
Can love steer the stars?
Can we let in the sunshine?
