The title is well chosen.

Words took too much energy

and her  actions and few words

communicated all that needed to besaid.

She loved them,

and  blessed their marriage and both of them.

Well done.

If I had to  find fault with anything it might be with

the somewhat unclear  who the words refered to when thaytalked  about she.

DeAnna sub for April 23

When Words Are Hard to Find

By DeAnna Quietwater Noriega

The granddaughter and her new husband

stood on either side

of her care facility bed.

She reached to cup the girl’s dearface.

She said, “Beautiful.”

She reached for their hands claspingthem

together between her old ones.

She said, “I love you.”

She let them know she understood

And blessed their marriage.
