Lessons My Mother Taught me
By DeAnna Quietwater Noriega
When your heart is full of song,
Sing and share your joy with others.
When you are in pain-be still.
Tell God-he'll know what to do.
Anyone can make mistakes.
Laughing at yourself beats crying.
Don't waste time complaining,
Get busy solving your problems.
Sometimes love means forgiving,
It only hurts more if you can't.
Actions speak louder than words.
Be honest even when no one knows.
There is always enough love,
If you keep giving it away.
Thank you mom for the lessons,
You taught me by your example.
