Welcome to the group. My guide dog, Viviane, is six and I am 62. Sometimes I
write essays about her. Deanna in the group also writes about her many guide
angels. We look forward to sharing your efforts.

Hi, everyone, Thanks to all of you for this opportunity. I am really looking
forward to contributing to the group and receiving your feedback. Leonard's
invitation came at just the right time. I have been thinking of writing a
book about growing old with my guide dog Laurence for over a year, and, as
we all know, there is a huge difference between thinking and writing.
Laurence was five in July, and I will turn sixty-five next month. So, it is
time to do something, and I am hoping to, with your help, come up with
something worthy of Laurence. Thanks, too, to the person who set me up with
access to the group.
