Hi Sally,
I’m sending you this reply via the group 1 party line, so everyone will be
able to read my suggestion and comment on it if they wish.
You don’t have to combine all of your critiques in one document, so there
will not be the necessity of a lot of pasting. You can send each critique
separately, but send it via the group one address, as I am doing on this
reply. that way, the person whose piece it is that you are commenting on will
get it and so will everyone else in the group. Most members like to
combine all their comments in one document, but that is only an option.
I hope this works for you. Let me know if there are further questions.
someone else in the group may have a better or alternative suggestion.
Mary Jo will be back in attendance next meeting, so I will not be
contributing a submission of my own.

Leonard and others, I am a good writer but no computer wizard. I am not
sure what to do with my critiques of others’ works. I have sent individual
critiques in an email to each author. I think I was also supposed to combine
all of the critiques into one piece for the website. Part of the residual
problems of a stroke, in my case, is not retaining much about computer work
unless I do it so often that it becomes automatic. I am not even certain I
can cut and paste email contents into a document. I used to feel
incredibly stupid about things like this until I was in a neurophysiology lecture
while training as an occupational therapist when it hit me that I was not
stupid after all. That part of my brain was simply not functional. So, I am
trying to come up with a way I can provide what the group needs. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I also want to thank all of you for the
feedback on my introduction that reads, I realize, in the manner of War and
Peace. I have cut it drastically and am keeping some of the information to “
show not tell” in the journal entries. Thanks again.
Sally
