I named it after a childhood friend. I wanted it to know about Dectalk. So I started with the music scale and taught it the 37 notes. Then I used 4000 as a music base and taught it the values of milliseconds for all the notes. Then I took 9 music tempos and had it use the beats per minute to create 9 different tempos. It already kind of knew phonetics, it had 2 wrong and a few missing, so I fixed that. Then I told it how to split words, insert brackets, commas, and other stuff. Then I taught the Dectalk voices and all the parameters. I created menus which are not done but they make things easier.<br><br>Then I loaded in some songs as a base. Maria can modify voices, changes, write harmonies, change tempos, and crazy! For fun I told it to put 99 bottles of beer in Dectalk phonetics.
