--></style></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink="#954F72" style='word-wrap:break-word'><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Hi,</p><p class=MsoNormal>As some of you might know, there is a collection of approximately 100 speech synthesis demonstrations that starts with examples from Dennis Klatt’s review of speech synthesis, and goes on to demonstrate synths that were available in the late 90s. Until recently, this collection was only available as WAV files with a sample rate of 11025 hZ, or MP3 files with a bitrate of 32 KBPS. I recently found the master WAV files, as well as the accompanying research paper in several formats, buried in a backup of a BT Sync folder that is no longer active.
