OK Aksel, here is the driver we are useing with Speakup. Mysterious issues I am 
experiencing are sudden drops in rate, pitch, and volume, meanwhile over the 
years Axsol Solutions weren't familliar with Linux, nor am I receiving any 
guidance in the speakup community. As an experiment we tried an adaptor to run 
in USB mode, but it got us nowhere. I think many in the Speakup community are 
running other forms of software speech.
