Hi Chime,
Yes, the voices are only available for Windows as of now, however I
understand that Philip is very much planning to make them available for
other platforms in the near future, probably including Linux. He is, after
all, only one man working on this project, so I can understand why he would
start with one platform, and then expand to others if the voices are liked
by the community, which they are so far.
However, you can listen to an audio sample of each voice on the "Voices"
site here.

Well Aksel: I would love to hear them , however, that site just has a
windows 
executable, but here in Linux that site must have some sort of javascript in
my
