I understand that, which is why you copy the installers to the disk image when it’s mounted to your computer, and then I think you can run the MAME emulation, and run the installers from the DOS prompt.

 

For example, if you want to install WordPerfect, you first mount the disk image with ImDisk as I’ve described, then copy the WordPerfect to the roth of the image, and then unmount the image from ImDisk. Now you should be able to run the MAME emulation with pc.bat, and then enter the name of the installer, and install it like a normal DOS program.
