I looked at it many months ago and came to the conclusion that it was too much
of a "mess" to be worth the time (or, at least, MY time!) to fix.  It seems to
have been written with one person in mind -- the original author!  <frown>

That conclusion seems to have been borne out by time as it's still not running
almost a year later (?).

Or, it isn't of enough interest to attract enough "effort" to get it running.

Good luck with your effort, though.  You may want to annotate the codebase
with a description of the sorts of changes you needed to make to get it
running.  This could help future developers identify similar items/issues
that you may have overlooked.
